Browse to the metacity-1 directory inside the theme directory ('usr/share/themes/Equinox Evolution Dawn/metacity-1' in my case) and open the metacity-theme-1.xml file
Scroll to the section labeled: "Construct titlebar from rectangles instead so we can pick up the GTK theme"
Under the gradient tag, change the last color value from #333333 to #303030 (third color value). This is located on line 69 for me, though that's subject to change.
Save, reapply theme, and your gradient should look continuous like it did before you lost the menubar. This should work with the other themes as well, though a different HEX color code will be needed. Excellent theme, keep up the amazing work!
