Faience is a Work In Progress that include a Gnome-Shell theme and an icon theme based on Faenza. A GTK2/3 theme will be available later.

This theme is in early development stage:
- Currently, it focusses essentially on Gnome 3 / Gnome-Shell. An embryonic support for Unity (with Radiance GTK theme) is provided since 0.2 trough Faience-Claire icon theme.
- Lots of icons are missing, thus it heavily depends on Faenza. Be sure to install it.

Licence: GPLv3

If you like my work (or to encourage me to draw an icon for your favorite application), please consider a small Paypal donation at matthieu.james@gmail.com ;)

Installation:
Extract the zip file and put the 'Faience', 'Faience-Azur', 'Faience-Ocre' and 'Faience-Claire' folders inside your ~/.icons directory. Use gnome-tweak-tool extension to select your Faience theme.

These icons should really be the default.

How to convert SVG into ICO? I want to use these icons in Windows without losing icon quality!

this is the most awesome icon theme :) Thank you,

But I have an issue, in Unity top panel icons are so dark and I cant see them, I wanted to replace them with other icons but keep the rest of the icon pack. do you have any advice how to do it?

I really love your theme and been using it since i have ubuntu.
Let me give you some suggestions: i prefer the fox-eye icon for firefox, it is much more better than the default one that is too similar to the original one.
Another suggestion is about the geany's icon: too arabesque. Why not make an alternative one with the lamp or something else recalling the original one? I'm tellin you this because several times I couldn't find the program because I didn't recognise the icon!!
Hope this cuold help, anyway
congratulations for you work :)

I personally like the firefox icon from the the Faenza-Fresh pack:

If it could be faience-ized, I would most likely use Faience instead of Faenza XD
